Good quality AC adapter that is almost a must have if you use your digital camera often. Good thing to have.

Wouldn't be without one
I've owned this product for 5 years and it does just what I need it to, powers my various Olympus cameras while I download to my computer and while I delete photos from my camera and saves my battery from discharging during these procedures. Cameras with rechargeable batteries require the particular charger for that battery.

mistake
I thought this would charge the camera, I made a mistake and didn't read the reviews. I think I'll stick with E-bay now.

does it's job
While it would be nice if this charged the battery, I still find it useful. For my research I have to take many pics with the camera in a relatively fixed position, and this keeps me from having to spend a lot of time worrying about conserving batteries.

Does the work
This adapter is great if you are using a 5MP camera or over because the file size to transfer to either the printer or computer is big and battery can dry easy.I found that if you don't use this adapter you can be stopped from complete your direct printing ( with out computer) and retouching your pictures because the battery goes dead before you finish. Great accesory.
