Recorder worked great
I bought this recorder to use at a quitar camp and it did everything I wanted it to do. I was able to record 4 lessons a day for 4 days before I had to replace the batteries. There was plenty of memory left. I was able to easily store the lessons in one of 4 seperate folders and it was simple to find each lesson again. When I got home it was easy to transfer all the files to my computer and access them. The sound quality wasn't great, but for such a small and simple recorder it was certainly good enough. I was very pleased.
Perfect fit
I narrowed my needs down to the following:
1) Good playback sound
2) Not pay an arm and a leg!
OK - there are certain aspects that could be better. But for my criteria this was a perfect fit. I needed it to record for voice lessons. Works great!
A suprisingly nice quality item
I was hoping to avoid as many adjectives as possible, as to not sound like a promotion, I love this wonderful little gadget. I bought it as a present for me, from my parents, for my birthday. I could not have been more pleased with my parents thoughtful and may I say well picked present. I needed it in order to tape microbiology lectures as the much shortened summer sessions equal much lengthened lectures which in turn equals extra special spacing out time. For instance, I made an 82 on the first exam, of which I am not proud. After using this little gadget......I got a 94. Oh yeah, wonderful little thing. The quality is great, the usability is great, it is easily downloaded onto my laptop and I can review my 200 pages of notes while listening to my professor. Oh! One of the days I was running a little late and I had to set the recorder up by my seat rather than stick it up in the front of the class near the professor. The sound, just as good just needed to turn it up a little and it was just as clear. Believe me if you are shopping for a voice recorder this little baby is it. I hope that wasn't too cheesy. Enjoy!!!!
Olympus VN-4100PC Digital voice recorder
I am really happy with the product. The best thing is it captures music or lecture clearly even it is a bit far away from the source. The recording comes out pretty clear and it is not very expensive. I use it for my music class or recording performances for reference purposes.
GREAT DIGITAL RECORDER
The digital recorder is really compact so i can slip it in my purse and carry it anywhere. It has 4 folders that allows me to easily organize my files and later transfer it to my laptop using the USB cord provided. The voice quality is also really good and I can have good recordings even if the professor is at the other side of the lab (room for 35-40 students).
