Highly recommend Canon printers and multi ink tanks 
I've had 2 Canon printers in the last 10 years and find that they perform well, whether printing documents or beautifully-colored photos, and are durable (my current i850 printer is 5 years old and only recently the print head had to be replaced-which was quick and easy with good customer service). I especially like the ink system with separate tanks for each color. They are simple to replace and the printer software makes it a snap to monitor when individual replacement is necessary.

how do you go wrong?
Tried buying in for my printer at target but this is the way to go.
Stick with Genuine Canon -- avoid "compatible" junk.
For i850. Wow, I tried to save money about a year ago and recently again by buying cheap "Made in China" compatible garbage cartridges. What a waste!! Streaking, clogging, poor color. One of the YELLOW cartridges was actually filled with MAGENTA INK!!! After wasting a lot of paper and time I returned the compatibles. I have NEVER had this type of problem with GENUINE CANON. They are much more expensive, but will save headaches and paper. Compatibles = worthless. Canon = Overpriced but worth it.
Get rid of your inkjet!
Man, I am so tired of buying these stupid cartridges for my Canon printer. I am gettind rid of it after these run out. Even when printing black and white and greyscale, it still sucks up the color cartridges! What a waste of resources. I will be getting rid of my MP750 and getting a laserjet, much more efficient. The only thing I really like about the 750 I have is the duplex feature. Still, these stupid cartridges are the straw on my camel's back.
