Product Description
The FinePix A800 features 8.3 megapixels. The FinePix A800 incorporates light sensitivities up to ISO800 at full resolution for "natural light" photos and less blur images. This camera appeals to first time buyers looking for outstanding performance at an affordable price. The FinePix A800 features Fujifilm's "Intelligent Flash" technology, which measures the size and position of the subject and sets flash power output and exposure level accordingly. Intelligent Flash delivers natural looking images without the 'washed out' effect that can be the resultof traditional on-camera flash. For A800, several shooting modes will help users to take the best pictures in every situation. For example, "Baby mode" reproduces skin tones accurately and "Picture Stabilization mode" enables the camera to enhance its shutter speed for with less blur photos. The FinePix A800 features 14 scene position modes.Ease of use is key to the design of the FinePix A800, with a simple button layout that makes the cameras ideal for first time users. The FinePix A800 features a newly designed mode dial, enabling users to quickly select scene position modes with their thumb. Framing photographs is made easy with a large 2.5" LCD monitor with an anti-reflective coating to prevent glare when shooting in daylight. The camera is powered by two AA-size batteries, which are readily available around the world.Customer reviews
Almost perfect
This is my second Fuji digital. My first one had a view finder. This one does not. I dont think anyone should buy a camera that doesnt have a view finder in my opinion. You just cant see the lcd screen in bright sunny conditions. I love Fuji picture quality. I like the size and the familiar functions. I just dont like that it doesnt have a viewfinder. No matter what brand I buy next, it will have a view finder.
Good Little Camera
This is the 3rd Fuji Finepix I have owned. I've never had any problems with any of them and the pictures are great. I compared this one to a Sony at the same price, and the Fuji won me over. The Fuji now has the image stabilization which helps as I get older and cannot hold the camera as steady as I used to. Great little camera for the amateur or professional.
Great Camera!
This is a great little camera. I wanted something small to carry to car shows, etc. It is small, easy to use, nice LCD and it takes great pictures.
I also purchased two more for my daughter and granddaughter. They both love it!
OK......
PICTURE QUALITY IS GOOD WITH A FLASH FOR EVENING OR LOW LIGHT SHOTS THE IMAGE QUALITY IS NOT THAT GREAT THOUGH.
Great Cam!
I did a thorough research before I bought this cammera. For its price, I don't think you can ask for more. However, the picture can be a little bit grainy when viewed in full size (I'm not sure if this is the case for other cameras as well). One more thing, I can't find a way to view the recorded videos on my computer yet. I can transfer the videos from the SD card to my hard drive but can't view it. I can only hear the sound.
Edit 8/1/07: I am able to view the videos with Quicktime player. :)
