DC wide angle lens 5
got it last month and popped it on my A630. The finish matches the camera impeccably, which was really important to me. A bit of noticeable distortion around the corners of pictures sometimes but usually only with shots that were too close to the subject. Unfortunately, the "flash eclipse" is unavoidable (the lens attachment blocks about 1/3 of the flash thrown in the lower right hand corner of the image), but I think if a slave unit (available from canon) were attached to the side of the camera the lens wouldn't get in the way that much. Really nice clarity and sturdy but light construction. It's a great way to get more field into the picture without having to be a mile away from your subject. definitely worth the money, and a LOT cheaper than Canon's wide angle offering.

Great - if you're not using a flash 2
This attachment (wide or telephoto) is a good addition to your Canon A620. However be aware that the close proximity of the flash unit on the camera with the adapter itself, means "flash" pictures will include a shadow on every shot. (It looks like a part of your finger "thumb" or "Pinky" that is accidentally blocking part of the lens.

I tried all sorts of adjustments but could not avoid the shadow. Probably the only sure bet is to use some software program to retouch the print.

Again, this only happens when you use the flash (i.e. shooting a group shot on the living room sofa) If you don't plan on using the flash, or if there is sufficient lighting, to turn off the flash, then you won't see the shadow.

The adapter is also useful in attaching telephoto lenses, filters, etc.

I tried to upload a sample photo of this but was unsuccessful.
