Summary: Great for overgrown bushes
Comment: Bought this from a local DIY store and has been a real timesaver this year. I used to use shears to trim the hedges and shrubbery to the front and back of the house - all that action on my 13m length made my arms ache. Not any more thanks to Bosch. It's light enough to hold one handed - it's not recommended to stretch yourself too much though. Wielding this tool around the garden is a pleasure. Sure it vibrates a little but you get used to that, especially when it cuts through thick stems with relative ease - have to agree with other comments on this. My only issue is a little on the girth of the handle - my wife successfully handles my tool but it took two hands and a very firm grip to fully control the beast, even then every now and again she was surprised by the power it unleashed. She also commented on its impressive length, again easy to reach those high spots.
On times, I used to spend a good afternoon, maybe 2 hours round the back and a good hour on the front bush but now this has reduced considerably.
Cord length is also good and cleaning is simple too - a quick wipe of the shaft and you're ready for the next bush.
A truly wonderful tool for trimming your overgrown bush!!

Comment: After realising that I'd not trimmed the hedge in my back garden for about 3 years, I figured I'd better get it sorted. Shopped around a bit for a hedge cutter and eventually settled on the Bosch.
What a good choice.
From taking it out of it's box, to sweeping up the trimmings once I'd finished cutting took less than an hour - and this hedge is about 10m long.
It's very light which makes it easier to use.
The blades are pretty long which gives you a better reach if you have a tall or deep hedge.
The power cord is a decent length. I only needed to break out the extention cable as I neared the end of the garden.
It's able to tackle some pretty thick branches as well.
All in all, this is a great hedge cutter and at a very reasonable price.
Highly recommend.

Summary: Very Impressive!
Comment: My cottage garden is totally surrounded with hedging, mostly beech. Never having used a hedge trimmer before, I was a little apprehensive as to how I would manage and what sort of cut it would give. There was, however, no need to worry. This little machine coped magnificently and produced a most impressive result. Much, much faster than by hand shears and the result just as neat. Should have got it earlier!
Considered getting the larger trimmer, but glad I finally decided on this one. Ideal for my garden hedge. It is a little heavier than I had imagined, but is still easily managed. Mind and buy a pair of goggles with it.

Comment: This really does make easy work of getting the hedges done, I would recommend it. Easy to use, and not too noisy as hedge trimmers go. It makes a chore into a fun task as cutting straight lines and shapes is a cinch. I would defintely recommend using safety goggles!

Comment: This tool is so easy to use! It cuts through thicker branches that a lot of other hedgecutters and made easy work of my hedge. It is not too heavy and easy to manipulate. I would recommend this to anyone!
