Editorial Reviews:

In a nutshell:
As if the idea of five games in one package didn't sound a good enough deal on its own the Wii's best multiplayer compendium comes free with the console.

The lowdown:
Clearly realising that they need to provide some quick and obvious reasons why the Wii Remote is such a good idea Nintendo have packed in this compilation with the console, which includes simple versions of tennis, golf, baseball, bowling and boxing. The four player tennis game is the obvious stand out as you swing the Remote exactly as you would a real tennis racket, with the game seeming to almost magically interpret your movements into the game. All the other games work in a similar way, as you hold the Remote like a golf club or ready it like a baseball bat - you can even use it to gently roll bowling bowls and add some subtle aftertouch. The graphics make be purposefully basic but these are the games to instantly prove why the Wii is going to be such a revolution.

Most exciting moment:
While even Wii Tennis can be played with very minor movements of the Wii Remote the boxing game actively encourages you to act things out properly. You hold up both the Remote and the nunchuck to simulate your two hands and then duck and weave as you switch between trying to pummel your opponent and dodging or blocking their own attacks.

Since you ask:
You can use your own customised Mii Channel character in any of the games for that personal touch. The idea was originally just a joke featuring caricatures of Nintendo's top brass for a press conference, but it proved so popular that Nintendo ensured anyone could make their own character to play with.

The bottom line:
Five of the best games on the Wii and they all come free with the console!-HARRISON DENT

Summary: you wont loose weight
Comment: After all the hype , i was duped into buying wii and the wii fit.
It is very clever but after a few initial trys, jogging on the spot and some bowling games it gets a little repeteitive.
It has now sat under the tv for 4 months and will do so longer i expect.
Walk the dog or go swimming! that work`s a lot better!

Summary: Fun but be careful!!
Comment: I have had my wii now for a couple of years and it now has a few odd plays every so often. I still love the concept and it is much more interaction than my old Xbox. I am just a bit disappointed that the online element to the console is really limited to sharing your Mii characters and not playing against other wii owners. The whole system is really easy to set up to your tv and has been very reliable. Still would recommend this console to anyone.

Summary: Great at first, but not for everyone
Comment: With this console, more than any other, I'll have to pick my words carefully. I have owned the Wii for a year alongside and an Elite and a PS3. I have had a lot of fun with this console and some of the games, but it lacks something for me which I cannot necessarily put my finger on.

The console is well designed and a lot smaller than the others. The Wii menu is easy to use and the ability to create Miis is a fantastic feature (which Microsoft have copied with their new avatar capibilities due to arrive later this year). You also have the ability to play online as long as you have a broadband connection.

Regarding the games, you get a large list of exclusive titles and multi format games which have been designed with the Wii's controls in mind. I would personally recommend Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3 and Super Smash Bros Brawl. I did not enjoy Mario Kart or Twilight Princess as I'm afraid that they did not give me anything new, but they are worth trying if you are a fan of either the Mario Kart or Zelda series. I think that my problem with the Wii centres on the controls themselves. Yes, they are new and yes, they offer a different dimension, but I have yet to feel blown away by anything so far. I'm not saying that its bad, but I was hoping that by now we would see more from the Wii.

A lot of people criticise the graphics, but it is not a HD machine. If graphics are really important to you, then you have 2 other consoles on the market to cater for what you're after. It is also worth noting that you can download (at a cost) various nintendo classics on the virtual console.

Overall, I would recommend buying this console if you want a new approach to gaming or if you feel like the gaming world has stagnated. The Wii may reawaken the inner gamer in you, but its not necessarily the "Revolution" that Nintendo had envisaged.

Summary: Simply Brilliant!!
Comment: This is the best console ever created. The things other companies have tried before and failed Nintendo nail to make a fanastic games console. I was a little unsure buying it as i'd heard bad things about the response times of the controllers to the games but i guess it all depends on which games your playing!!

Buy one!

p.s how can anyone give this a 1 rating?

Summary: A good console
Comment: This is a very good console. Its very fun and goes beyond button bashing, it also lots of good games and channels. It isn't perfect though. The online play is not very good and there are many rubbish games. If you like first person shooters don't get this. My advice is to have a wii downstairs and a ps3 or xbox360 in your room.
