Customer Rating: Summary: and you need 2 hands Comment: When I first got this, it was cheap and ok for occasional use, not waking up the household on night time wanders around the house etc. But it's not cutting edge (any more). As the previous reviewer says, it's not very bright. Also you need 2 hands - one to hold and one to wind up, which is not terribly convenient. I would recommend instead getting a dynamo type one which involves squeezing - you can 'wind up' and use with one hand and they only cost about £3.50 incl. p&p on ebay!
Customer Rating: Summary: Active Products 3 LED wind up torch Comment: The light is adequate for use in the pitch dark, looking in dark cupboards, etc., but it isn't very bright. We certainly don't get anywhere near 30/90 minutes from one minute winding. More like 10 to 15 mins. of mixed 1/3 LED usage. I use it every day and it is useful, and I would buy again, but remember that it isn't a very bright torch!
