Comment: Ok, like me you're probably not one to buy many musicals but you digg Burton and Depp. What to do?
Well, here's my take... in simple terms;
It looks great.
The songs vary from dull to quite amusing. Not that catchy or classic but the odd one is amusing.
The story line is OK, fairly basic.
The actors perform well and the leads are charismatic.
Conclusion? Meh... you know, it's OK. That about sums it up. There are better and worse places to spend your money! Sorry to be tepid about the whole affair but that's how I feel. If you must, buy it but you won't be missing much if you don't!
Not a stunning blu-ray either.

Comment: I don't know, I saw Johnny Depp was in it, sweeney todd story & that's where I placed it on pre-order for rental, should of looked into it more but it is song after wide mouthed londoner song, terrible, ok if you like that sort of thing but god is it annoying to watch & more to listen to.
If only they had dropped the singing it may of been a decent movie & at least watchable.
Not going to watch anymore, had enough of that, can't bear another bit of it, glad I didn't buy it. What a let down.
