Summary: The Perfect Sleep Mask
Comment: I've tried many sleep masks over the years and have never been satisfied with any of them - until now. Most sleep masks have a small elastic band that stretches out quickly, making it worthless, or lets light in around the nasal area because they don't fit correctly. This sleep mask is perfect in many ways. It has a wide, sturdy elastic band with a velcro fastener that allows for comfort, fit, and longevity. It also has a nose hood to prevent light from disturbing your sleep and even has convex pockets so the mask doesn't touch your eyes or lashes while you sleep. On top of all that, it's made of a soft, durable material that is a pleasure to the skin. I've used my sleep mask for awhile now and I can find nothing negative to say about it. In fact, I can't sleep without it! Whoever designed it really knew what they were doing, and I heartily recommend it. It's a great product, worth every penny!

Comment: Good mask, but don't think it's quite accurate to call it total blackout. Light gets in around the nose area (I suppose I could tighten the strap so tight it hurts, but that wouldn't really help me sleep better, would it?). Otherwise, the mask is comfortable.

Comment: Depending on your nose sized, some light can slip thru. Overall, it is totally black-out, soft and light fitting around the face.

Comment: Finally I can sleep! This mask really does block out the light. And for the price, you can't beat it. I love that I can open my eyes with it on and it is pitch black. A little light can creep in under the nose but I've gotten used to it. If I use it during the day, I will place a folded kleenex across the bridge of my nose before putting the mask on. Voila! No light whatsoever. I just love this contoured sleep mask.

Summary: One change and it would be perfect...
Comment: The strap for this uses velcro. The "adjustability" of it is negligible. They could have done so much better with just a regular elastic strap. The velcro piece leaves a hard area that sometimes discourages me from sleeping on my back and side sleeping with this doesn't work fabulously. Also depending on how soft your pillow case is, any open velcro might stick to it.
It does keep out light very well (the nose thing isn't really a big deal). The eye-bulges are a welcome addition and for the price it's pretty awesome! If you are looking for something that is extremely comfortable and blocks out absolutely every bit of light, I might suggest looking elsewhere.
