Customer Rating: Summary: great!!! Comment: My husband and I have viewed about half of the dvd set. I missed the second season when it came on TV. It used to be that all new seasons started at the same time in the fall, but not any more, alas. So I bought the dvd set. The second season is just as good as the first. I really love this show. I like this kind of futuristic sci-fi and there's enough humor to weight off some of the heavier subject matter. It is a real winner!
Customer Rating: Summary: Fanastic Comment: Can't wait for the third season, as season two left on a bit of a cliff hanger.
Customer Rating: Summary: Fun, Smart, Entertaining Comment: This show is fun and smart and season 2 ratches up the clever! The season long story line of the artifact comes to a very satisfiying conclusion. The trouble these genius get into is smart and quiry. Great actin, great writing.
Customer Rating: Summary: science? Comment: The writers of Eureka have always been pretty wacky with their knowledge of science (if you can even get away with calling it knowledge), but it's always been fun and kitschy until the "God is in Details" episode. The support of a god and an overly religious episode like this just killed it for me and logical thinkers. The episode was not only hard to take in because it showed a community of scientists embracing something without evidence, but it was so blatant that it was basically propaganda. At many times i felt like i was watching something on PAX TV or the Omega Code. Eureka fails hard at science, which should boggle your mind since the town is supposed to be filled with brilliance. Lols were had when the "portal to heaven" was introduced.
It's interesting how one episode can ruin a show, but some things cannot be overlooked.
